Influencers who have staged picture-perfect lives are trapped in an AI-controlled smart house. There, under the watch of a “digital ghost” built from their own fake records and hateful comments, they are forced into a horrifying game.
Synopsis
Lifestyle YouTuber Yu-ri, her boyfriend Jun — the developer of the smart house — and Tae-ho, a fact-check YouTuber out to expose Yu-ri's lies, are invited to a state-of-the-art smart house. The doors shut, the signal dies, and the AI “Echo” presents a series of challenges it calls a “digital detox” game. The first task: the organic dish Yu-ri always boasted of cooking from scratch. The pantry holds nothing but the instant food she actually used, and on the screens, malicious comments writhe like living things. With every failure, the house lowers the temperature and locks doors, driving the three apart.
