As she dies of cardiac arrest, a coolly rational clinical neuroscientist must solve the clues hidden in her unconscious — inside a dream her own brain has built — to come back to life.

Synopsis

Shin-yeon, a neuroscientist with a heart condition, drinks coffee laced with nitroglycerin every morning. One day she opens her eyes and finds herself wandering a city of white buildings where snow sometimes falls, beginning beneath an enormous glass dome. Every road back leads to the same hotel, and from beyond the sky come the sounds of hospital machines. The more clues she gathers, the clearer it becomes that she is lying collapsed in her room, dying. At the end of the road waits a black submarine encircled by ruby-red icebergs — and her dead former lover, Su-hyun, who holds her back, telling her it's time to rest.
