Synopsis
When his fiancée Anna — struck down by an incurable disease just before their wedding — goes missing, homicide detective Jin-woo begins to track her and learns that she was pregnant. Investigating a murder, he is shaken to find a heart matching Anna's DNA in the refrigerator of organ-trafficking suspect Kim Cheon-gu.
Digging into who is behind it, Jin-woo learns that Anna is still alive — and that Choi Hyun-shin, chairman of CSC, the pharmaceutical giant where she worked, is connected to all of it. Stripped of his authority to investigate, Jin-woo slips onto a remote island in the West Sea alone to find her.
Beneath the island lies a horrific facility that mass-produces human bodies — their brains used as biocomputers, their bodies for organ harvesting and live experiments. With the help of an Anna clone, Jin-woo fights through the clones controlled by Chairman Choi and finally rescues his fiancée.
But Jin-woo realizes that Chairman Choi has lured him into a much bigger trap.

Characters
Lee Jin-woo (36): Homicide detective
A detective with a photographic memory, so relentless that he throws away his badge and his own safety to find his missing fiancée, Anna. He leans too heavily on his memory and analysis, boxing people into stereotyped data.
Jo Anna (29): Researcher at a pharmaceutical giant
Diagnosed as terminally ill with the very disease she researches, she vanishes the day before her discharge. Trapped in Choi Hyun-shin's virtual world, she uses her clone to reach out to her fiancé, Jin-woo, for help.
Kim Cheon-gu (25): Former army doctor
A suspect in murder and organ trafficking. He treats a little clone created for human experiments as his own daughter and would give his life to protect her. The deadliest security agent in the human-farming factory.
Choi Hyun-shin (43): Chairman of a pharmaceutical giant
Chairman of CSC, a pharmaceutical giant. After persuading Anna he can save her and her unborn baby, he imprisons her in a virtual world. The architect of the human-farming factory and everything that happens. Obsessed with Anna, he means to take her and the baby for himself.
