Synopsis
Fresh out of training, nurse Kim Eun-hye lands her first job at Grace Psychiatric Hospital, set to close in a month because of its controversial history and crumbling facilities. She is assigned the night shift on the notorious Ward 8. Old patient files and grotesque medical equipment point to unorthodox experiments conducted before the fire, and each night the ghosts of burned patients and the weeping in the corridors replay the records from just before the blaze. Park Dae-cheol, the caretaker who has worked there since before the fire, confides that psychiatrist Dr. Han Jae-hoon was obsessed with experiments to “burn out” madness — and that his body was never found.
